Second Day Living in Osaka, Japan (June 20, 2016)

My second day living in Japan was my first working there. Although it is not official until July 16th.

In the morning, I met with the consultant again. She took me to the municipal office so I can register my residency and for them to activate my resident card. It took about an hour for the process. Then, we went to SMBC Bank by my work to open a bank account.  This process took a few hours. As a requirement from the bank, I had to write my own application forms in Japanese.  It took me a long time to complete those forms to open a bank account and to apply for a credit card.  Anyway, after a few hours I got my debit card.  I had to go back to work and we didn’t get a chance to go to Muji store.  I was able to buy a few things from Daiso e.g. hangers, glasses, and a flor mat.
